Im going to sell my P800 soon, and move to a T610.. I'm also going to get an o2 contract.. I was just wondering if o2 change the phone at all, and if any of the changes are irreversible.. thanks, woz.

They havnt really changed anything, but it does have their startup logo and screensaver which you can change. Also in the games section there is a link to O2 games arcade. A big bonus is my O2 contract T610 was free, unbranded and sim free!

lol! Cool, how'd you manage that?! Are the changes reversible by getting the phone re-flashed? ta

If you mean getting it for free, I ordered it directly from them, tried to sell me the T720i but i haggled! You cant delete the o2 screensaver but can easliy change to somert else and cant get rid of the startup o2 logos but can change them to anything you want. I would have thought flashing would delete these but doesnt seem worth it. I could be wrong but all o2 contract phones are sim free and unbranded i think......well mine was!

i got my t610 on o2 from the carphone w/hse, it is 100% unbranded, sim free, no o2 start up or anything on the menus, the only o2 gumf it has is when you go to wap thru the button on the right hand side of the phone it takes you to O2 active, if you use other ways of connecting to wap thru the menu you can go to your own chosen homepage

Fully flashing it will remove the customised stuff.
It's what i am getting done to my orange T610.
I am going to use it on o2 payg so dont want all orange stuff on it.
Also getting it unlocked and upgraded to latest firmware.
