Is there some way we can add new contacts in flip closed mode? it will be a bit tedious to always have to open the flip just to enter a new contact number.

Thats a good question mate, I can't find any option to save a number/add a contact in the flip closed mode. You can select “add to contact” from the phone preferences so that you’ll asked to add the numbers which are not already in the contact list, but this will help only if you make a call not if some one is telling you their number and you are trying to save it to the phone directly.

cuz opening the flip and adding a number requires you to use 2 hands (by utilizing the stylus). & sometimes, when your in a hurry, adding numbers with one hand is very much easier

Here's how to do it...
In flip closed mode:
Open the message with the unknown number.
Press the options button.
Select "5. Store Sender"
Then it will bring you to a screen where you can input the
First Name
Last Name
Company
Then press the options button.
Select "Save"
I can only do this in Messages... I cannot do it in the Call List... and I cannot add contacts out of the blue (we have to resort to opening the flip).

i still can't believe that this cant be done! maybe there are some good souls out there who are willing to create a simple app which can allow us to do this. I mean, im not a programmer myself but i don't think this is hard to do. maybe someone can just tap into the "store sender" link which can be found in messages and use this to add contacts in flip closed. is this possible?
