Oh my GOD! What were they thinking in SE when implementing the calendar function!? I have a huuuge problem. I have a lot of appointments im my calendar and I spend a lot of my working day outside, where it's VERY noisy. What good is an appointment reminder (or task reminder) which plays a crappy 3 second melody and doesn't even vibrate!!?? I can't hear that outside, and I don't take the phone out of my pocket unless someone calls me or I have to make a call. The consequence is that I'm often late to meetings. As far as I remember T68i didn't have that problem, and even the crappy T100 which I have as a second phone let's you choose the melody for a task reminder. Now I need something to remind me of a appointment reminder Or am I missing something!?

P.S. Sorry for lenghty post, but I'm really pissed off!

YES, this point really piss me off, too... It was really cool on the T68; we can now choose wether or not we want to be remembered, but if we want to, I think the ringing signal must be hard enough to hear it (or to feel it)...

And to add to my post, the timer (time countdown) function also has a crappy SHORT melody with no vibration, so I managed to forget to make an important call today. Set the timer for 20 minutes (when I was supposed to make a call) and didn't hear it since I was outside. Nice SE, very nice. And they call this a high-class bussiness phone!? It's an expensive toy!

You will be happy to know that R3C firmware version now vibrates in timer and calendar (though not much...)

If you switch the phone to vibrate always (Not just when it's silent) then it *does* vibrate for the reminders/timer.
