Has anybody worked out, or found some software, to play MP3s on your P800 that are stored on a PC?
It should be possible as BT is fast enough.

dont think its possible.. i predict that someone posting after me, will tell you all the maths about how it isnt actually fast enough...
but whynot just listen to the mp3s thru your PC !

only a 10metre range on the BT anyway

even better, get some wireless audio headphones, work a treat for about 30metres

From my experiments, it should be possible.

Don't know of any applications which do it though.

There is a programme which can control WinAMP via bluetooth, which may be useful.

Thread here discusses:

I saw something advertised in the latest CPW brochure about a bluetooth music player. I really didn't get a good look at whatever it was, but perhaps someone else did. The words just caught my eye.

Hey, i got my bluespoon Chameleon working as a headset through my PC, but it's just a little pointless as I may as well just turn my speakers up. When i tried to use it as a mic/headset combo it doesn't work very well tho, maybe i haven't got it properly configured, but the sound on the other side is really really jumpy and poor.

Anyway, if you have the latest drivers I assume you just go to headset and tell it that ur phone is a headset, should work... In fact I'll try now...
