ok i admit i didn't search esato first... but my net has been capped and am running at 28.8k... very slow... so anyway here goes
i have had my T610 for a few months now and have never had any probs with it, even when i upgraded to R1L
but just in the past few days, i have been hearing this self-echo about 0.5 sec after i speak.. it is very obvious and i dont know why it is happening
does anyone else have this problem? i will try it with a handsfree tonight to see if also have the echo.... it is dissappointing as my T610 has been so good until now....
i haven't dropped it or anything bad happened to it....
sigh..

When you hear your own echo, it usually indicates a problem on the other end of the line... (The other phone does not filter the speaker from the mic correctly, so it transmits your voice back to you)
Does this happen with one particular person?

phew.. i would hope its not my phone...
the others.. there's been two with the echo
one using the SE T68i
and the other using nokia 3350
perhaps it is their phones....
will check and call a few more people to see the difference

well i've had this problem too, but just twice. the reception on my side was full and i had called anoher cell phone so maybe it happens when the reception at the other end is bad. so i don't really think there is anything wrong with ur phone.

i got self echo prob too !!! see i´m not the only one whats wrong ? on my old t68i i got of course 256 colors without polyphonic etc BUT GOT A PERFECTLY RECIPTION IN ANY OCASIONS !!!! damn uf hehe

i am slightly confused
but i am definitely SURE when i heard it.. was 0.5 to 1 sec delay
i also have full reception where i make my calls.. must be the other party...
strange....
