I have two issues:

1) while restoring a back up, I get an error massage that a certain file is being used and requests me to make sure that all files on the phone are switched off!!!!. Although the phone is switched off during backup/restore procedure.

2) After a total system reset, a sync operation should only add data concerning email, contacts, jotter & calendar. No system folders should be affected. Is this true?

I had this problem after I installed AppForge on my P800.
I updated to a version of AppForge that shouldn't have this problem but I still couldn't backup without deinstalling AppForge first.

After I updated to the latest firmware and updated the Desktop Suite the problem went away and never came back.

I think the problem lies in the fact that you are getting an error massage which could leave you crippled or with damaged nerves, you need to seek a new massuesse.

Sorry for making fun of a spelling error but im bored. l dont think l can spell massuesse right either.
