I have just ordered a bluetooth dongle and wondered how much battery drains on the T610 if i have bluetooth on permanently.

how much quicker would it run out?

I don't need people telling me I shouldn't do it etc, I am just wondering how much quicker it would drain it

cheers

It depends on how much you use it.

Just because it is "on" does not mean that it is drawing any (much?) power. It will only be actually active when it is required to do something.

In my experience, just having BT turned on all the time makes very little difference indeed. I could hardly notice the difference in battery life between off and on.

I will admit that if I use it a lot (syncing, transferring files etc) it does make a dent on the battery life.

I leave my bluetooth switched on now. It gets used for about 2 hours a day with the bluetooth headset and I can say it has very little inpact on the battery life. Bluetooth on my T610 is set to "not discoverable". Not sure if that makes a difference.
