Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if you knew of any problems the new P800 firmware has with bluetooth.
Ever since the phone was upgraded to the R2F, I get a lot of crashes/locked screen, especially when trying to pair/connect my phone to my bluetooth dongle on my PC. Its becoming a total pain and my remote synching is all but a thing of the past.
Please let me know if there's any solutions that I may have missed in my searches.
Thanks.

I am having a some problems using bluetooth too. When I try to send files from the P800 to my PC using bluetooth I get an error.

The firmware is:
Phone: R2D
Bluetooth: CXC12529 R5A

Any clues how can I fix it?

Thx,

I think I got mine sorted out, but only time will tell.
I uninstalled my IOGEAR USB Bluetooth dongle software and reinstalled the newest update from the web.
I also removed JAVA MSN because I read somewhere on this forum that it caused problems (I never could get it to work, anyway), now my connection remains stable and I don't keep popping in and out like I used to.
I hope this was helpful.

Hi All! I seem to have the same trouble with transferring files from P800 to my PC. It does connect and I did send an xls-file from my PC to the phone, but it does not work the other way around.

Furthermore i wasn't able to send mp3 files to my phone.

Can anybody explain me what i'm doing wrong here?

i am having trouble too but perhaps my replacement phone is faulty(on my third replacement)the one i originally sent back was running r2d and everything worked, this one is r2f and nothing works, bluetooth does not reconise my headset, cannot connect to pc cradle and infra-red does not save its settings or even work, all worked before perhaps dodgy phone or maybe a problem with r2f firmware.
