I've been having some problems with SMS arriving to my phone, especially when they're sent from msn messenger or websites that offer SMS service. Lately I haven't been able to receive any SMS from these types of service providers, however I have been able to receive normal SMS from other cell phones. This problem is really annoying and it has happened before and seemed to fix itself after a couple of days. However, it's been almost a week and I keep having the same problem. Does anyone know why this happens and how it can be fixed? Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

I'd say, this is most probably a network problem/feature...
...but describe your problem in a little more detail.

hi
some providers have blocked sms send from programs on the web.
talk to your provider they may give you an answer.

I don't think the service provider has blocked that service, cause I could finally receive an SMS sent from a website today.. However, the problem tends to repeat itself, and it appears to fix itself after some time, but still, it's still annoying whem the problem is present mainly because I'm unable to receive some important messages

What do you mean by "unable to recieve"? Do you get an error message? Do the simply never come? or do they come very late?
...anyhow, it's very unlikely it's a problem with the phone. Keep in mind that web-messages are unreliable by nature, and usually arrive (if they do) late...

also keep in mind that some net-sms sending services require phone networks to subscribe to them first or allow theri services..... not all carriers do
(try sending ICQ sms to O2 uk..... you will find it is not supported)
