I dont know if anyone already knows about this (i havnt seen this in the forum so far)
I noticed that when in the main menu screen instead of using the joystick you can navigate to the different areas by using the keypad numbers. So on my T610 (orange network) when in the main menu i use the following number keys as shortcuts:
1. Orange Website
2. Orange Services
3. My Shortcuts
4. Camera
5. Messaging
6. Games
7. Pictures and sounds
8. Phonebook
9. Calls
*. Connectivity
0. Organizer
#. Settings

Oh ! u didnt know that... then there is something for you....
its not just the Main Menu !! in any menu, pressing the dial pad numbers will automatically open the submenu listed at that position.
eg pressing 4 while in Messaging menu will open the E-mail menu automaticall as it is listed 4th....

That's one of the things about the T610 that drove me nuts. The T300 menus that support number key access are all labelled with numbers. Makes it real easy. And what few menus don't work that way don't have numbers. The T610 is pretty much a guessing game. Does it or doesn't it? I thought maybe it was a T-mobile thing but I guess not.

There's a cople of problems with this...
1) As mentioned the numbers aren't shwon alongside the menu items (an easy guide is that in a full sized menu, the one at the bottom of the visible screen area is number 6 to begin with)
2) The number selection doesnt work in some of the WAP menu's.

Probably you didn't find it because everybody knows that. Every phone I used had this feature (panasonic gd67, se t300). Even brothers nokia has it.
