Hello
I purchased a Sony Ericsson T68i off ebay, it was originally network tied to Orange, but i needed it for Vodafone. I unlocked it, and as a phone it works fine, however, all the orange wap settings remain. If i delete them and put the Vodafone settings on it works fine until i restart the phone, when i restart the phone it deletes the Vodafone settings, and restores the Orange ones. Also Orange has a picture on shut down
.

If so, there is probably nothing you can do about that - the Orange settings will be in the firmware and will be restored when you do a master reset.
I seem to remember a thread that discussed getting original SE firmware installed on a phone - but I cannot find it at present. Anybody?
