I have just got R4A008 installed on my T39m. Previous version was R3B006. So far, I have not found any changes, neither improvements nor drawbacks.

so there are no differences at all? If not, then I will not take my grandpa's T39 for an upgrade....

That's weird. Why would they release a new version if it didn't have any changes??

Bug fix release, I thought.
Some bug are not easily noticable, eg. GPRS, Bluetooth Connectivity, reset when syncing AvantGo...

I'll hazard a guess that the improvements are performance and/or debugging rather than cosmetic. They wouldn't have upped the number if there weren't any changes. This post was posted from a T39

I think I have noticed a little faster response times in the
GPRS and WAP browser. No resets needed either in order to
get a GPRS connection. I hope that there are a couple
of bug fixes too. Anyway, the internal data format seems
to be the same, every single setting is still the same after
the upgrade.
