Why do you need the IMEI for Opera? It's a freeware.. i did download it and they never asked me my IMEI (???)

I feel it's unacceptable to bash a user for asking a question just because the information could be used for a keygen...
I don't see anyone bashing bluejackers, simply because bluejacking can be used for harrassment!

However, that same info can be (and is) used for legitimate purposes as well, thus it's not "illegal" or against forum rules to discuss it. As a matter of fact when it comes to registering
legal apps, it's one of the most important pieces of information you need.
