both my T610s took 30 mins to upgrade to R1L.
I'm going on Friday to get R3C so I'll see if they are that efficient again!

It depends wich phone too... a P800 will take much longer
And some SE center use the old serial connection, others USB...

Hard to say, as they make up bring in the phone before a certain time and you can pick it up a few hours later.

In mauritius, if ever anyone knows where it is, they said to come back after one day.
i was like, Huh?
but then i talked to the woman there (charming, grin)
and it was done in 3 hours. now go figure what they did during all that time (they did clean up the dust under my screen) and upgrade r1b to r7a.
and they are the only SE service centre for the whole country...

I've used my local

service center for upgrade 7-8 times. The shortest they have ever used was 30 minutes, the longest - 1 hour...
