I don't know why you can't access it, actually I initally thought may be you are subsribed through single point or like and that may be the reason, but I am also subscribed through single point but it worked for me. If you put your number and the make of the phone in the 'how to get 02 active' section of the site then they will send you a autoset up message for 02wap gprs, which I already had any way. Then you go to the 02 wap home page which will be in your bookmarks and click 'whats new' then in the next page 'mobile video' and then as you wish news or sports or what ever , I tried news first and then music, (It says there before we stream the file that it will cos £0.00 so hopefully its not charging me,I will confirm that when my next bill comes) for some reason it is opening my camcoder application instead of the default video app, any way don't know whether because of the lack of speed of the data connection or technical glitch with 02 I can't see the video or hear any thing. You guys try there and let me know whether you were able to see the video. I am going to uninstall the camcoder app and try again.

ok i got it working now. Dunno why I couldnt access it before. I managed to download a video & it automatically opened up the camcoder. quality was rubbish but still interesting.

I have a couple of questions.

Even though the video is free, i guess we are still paying per mb to download it over gprs?

Can anyone figure out where it gets downloaded to?

Oh & one more point. Using the inbuilt browser the o2 active page loads fine. But using opera it doesnt load o2 active but instaed only loads up the basic wap homepage minus the flashy logo's n stuff

Did you download the video or did you stream it I tried to stream may be that was the reason I was unable to see that.As far as I am aware since you are using '02 Wap Gprs' you don't pay for the downloads.

I downloaded it, not streamed it.

I have a hunch that we are still paying to download/stream it, just not paying for the actual content, if you get my meaning?

I think we still get charged per mb

@-=ViBeZ=-....i can assure you o2 active is free.....that includes video, by which ever method, (GPRS, Dial Up, Streaming or Downloading)

You will only be charged when prices are shown.

Data will still increase in your GPRS counter on your phone, but your not gonna be charged.

My thoughs: I think the video quality is great.....even when streaming. Who needs 3?

I confirmed with 02 data service team and they told me that if we are using '02 wap Gprs' we won't be charged for the downloaded Mbs, even though it get shown on the gprs counter.(Like Mark said above)You can see in the properties of the 02 wap gprs that its address is wap.02.co.uk. You will get charged for the amount of time you spent on that though but if you have free minutes then thats ok. I think its 10p a minute of wap usage irespective of the time of the day and the amount of data downloaded
