I thought it was quite funny too. The cat is dead for crying out loud, who amongst us can't honestly say that they havn't seen someone hurt themself and not had a quiet chuckle? The man falling downstairs? The woman slipping on the ice? and such other hilarities.
Maybe its because I'm British and we are mostly completely insane, but it is a God given right to laugh at the misfortune of others, its what makes life bearable, knowing that there is some poor bugger worse of than yourself.
