> how do u withhold number?
Bookmark topic
this might seem like a trivial question (and dont talk to me about the 'search' function) but i could find anything for the life of me.
now, the question is how do i withhold my number when dialling?
can u do it per call? or is there a setting in control panel or something?
is not in manual either (that i can see) but i dont think SE Would have overlooked something as critical as this...
thanx

insert #31# in front of the number you will dial and your number will not show (this is however network dependent, meaning your network provider might not support this)

As a UK user, I can confirm that (not surprisingly) Cytech is correct.

There is another easy way than the above ones, In the flip closed mode enter the number you want to call and then press the 'option' button on the right hand corner and select the hide my number option. Simple. Ya you have to do it for every number, you can't make it default.hope this helps

yea, i know of the 'insert prefix' (in australia its 1831) but i was wondering if there was another way. (the flip closed mode is a bit tedious, and u cant do it if u are using any saved contacts...
