I have done a quick search and couldnt find anything
are you aware of this
T610 Charger Recall
Notification of recall of Sony Ericsson charger for T610 model phones
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications have identified a potential Health and Safety issue with one type of its mobile phone chargers supplied with the T610 model of mobile phone. In a small number of cases pressure has built up inside the charger and caused the top cover to break off, which may be potentially harmful with the risk of electric shock or fire hazard.
As a result all chargers of this type have been recalled and a free of charge replacement will be provided. Please see below for how to identify your type of charger:
What you need to do:
If your charger has the identification number BML162099/3 R1A
And states “Made in Thailand by Delta”
Please contact Sony Ericsson on their helpline 08705 237237 to arrange the return of your charger, and your free of charge replacement

before anyone says it, yes we are all aware of this problem or at least should be by now.
it should have been made a sticky so people could see the inormation first hand......but thanks for the heads up.

i stil aint called to ask for my replacement but i heard SE r sending out the older version of the chargers (2 part chargers) and i dont think dis is any good? for instance if i wanted to sell my fone off in the future den i would want the original charger dat came with it right? my charger hasnt blown up but its jus stopped workin.

Having seen, I dunno, maybe 10 or 12 threads about this since early sept I am surprised to find someone posting this as possible new info.
I also believe its not just the T610 that was supplied with these chargers so that information is also incorrect anyway. My sons t310 had one of these chargers.
People seem to be starting alot of threads lately with a disclaimer that they did a search but I just did a quick search with keywords "charger recall" and found most of the threads right away!
Anyway I guess we really do know about this now!
