At the moment, the lack of this feature is the only thing holding me back from getting a T610. Even if the front cover protected the screen, and took a bit of work to get off/on (as it does), I could deal with that. However, I abuse my phone a lot - I've been through 4 covers in 6 months on my 6610, and for this reason, and this reason only, I'm thinking of getting a 7250i instead of a T610. Does anybody have any experience with scratching the screen on a T610? If unprotected, is it really just a matter of time before it gets scratched up? What are my options if it gets scratched? I know there are ways to protect the screen.. and the covers can be changed with a bit of work, but I'm really not sure.

*edit* sorry - do the covers actually protect the screen of the phone??

Hmm.. wait a sec sorry, do the covers actually protect the screen of the phone as well? I was under the impression that they didn't (as in the T68), but if they do, I'm sold!

I have two T610s, 1 since the first week they were available and the other I got in July. I carry both in cases on my belt and neither has any visible scratches.

As for changeing the T610 covers... take a look at this thread
