Had some minor problems with my T68i and had to have it replaced, but nothing compares to the trouble I have had with Nokia's in the past.
So no, having had my T68i now for over a year, I would say that SE phones are very reliable and well made.

yes well actualy when ericsson whas without sony in my opinion the build quality whas better then now when the japs are here but still the new t610 is a big inprovement ower the t68i just my 2 cents ....

ericsson and S.E. phones are great quality. I've never had any other brand. I had a t28 world for 2 years, and a cf688??? for 2 years also. now i've had my t68i for 1 year and a t300 for a few months. My t28 still works too, i just wanted new features so i got new phones. but the quality are great. you probably just got the lemons out of the batch, it happens with any phone manufacturer.

Then a Samsung... which was disitinctively more delicate
a Motorola, which was a POS from day 1
t200... that phone never failed me and now still never fails my friend... it has suffered a few drops... but it's still in excellent shape
t300........ hardware bug... replaced
t300 no 2 still going strong. This one has survived water, numerous drops, a close encounter with a bicycle wheel and a few x-second tricks....... and it is absolutely unbreakable.

I have a T39, still using it 'cause it has the best organizer, compared to the newer SE mobiles. Dropped a couple of times, but it's more than 2 years old and I've never had a problem.
The T68 I'm using right now is 1 year old, dropped 3/4 times, scratched a little but always working. My wife's using a T65, but 'really' using it, and on problems at all.
I have to admit that I'm lucky, many others had a lot of problems, standing at the forum threads.
