OK guys, this is what you do. Messaging --> Picture --> Options --> Message server ... type in
http://mmsc.cingular.com ... in WAP Profile choose the profile you use for GPRS.
This works great for me

I've tweaked the settings a bit and have only reached 94% percent when trying to send an MMS using my P800. Then I get a "communication error" stating that an error occurred in the communication with the proxy.....

When you are trying to send MMS, does the GPRS icon show up, or a little handset (top left corner area)? If handset, you need a new sim. Means MMS couldn't "attach." I have had to change the sim for almost every cust that I have added MMS to, including my own. The store should give you one free for this issue. People won't get it if we are going to charge them for a new sim
If you want MMS and don't have GPRS yet, ask that the rep adds MMS first, then GPRS. And test it before you leave store or hang up with cust serv.

Ok... This is what I have on my P800:
WAP Accounts:
Account Name: MMS
Internet Account: MMS
Use Proxy: checked on
Address:66.209.11.61
Port: 9203
username: blank
Password: blank
Under the Preferred tab, do not check "use wap account".
Under Messaging Accounts:
MMS Tab:
Service Center Address:
http://mmsc.cingular.com
Wap Account: MMS
Automatic: Off
Do not touch the advanced settings.
Under Internet Accounts:
Account name: MMS
Connection type: GPRS
Go to advanced settings:
Username & password required must be checked on.
user name:
WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
password: CINGULAR1
Address: wap.cingular
These settings work for my P800. Let me know if they work for yours.
