Sharp GX-20 now available at Vodafone stores in Australia!!!

I walked by the Vodafone shop at Market City and they had it there for $799... or $49 on a 60 plan... or $49 on upgrade if your on Band 3.

The screen was extremely impressive.. The photo mode was crystal clear. Looks like a very high resolution TFT laptop screen. Color was extremely accurate. I think this phone will rock. Menu speed was quite fast, even opening up stored SMS on sim card.

Overall, if it had Bluetooth, id buy one.. but sadly i'll have to wait for the SE Z600!!!

Cheers

GX20 has 240x320 65k CG-Silicon screen (better than most Pocket PCs). And the camera is a proper CCD 330,000 pixel (rather than CMOS), also come with a 6 colour + white flash-light to light up in the dark - really useful when taking video clips as well as stills.

Does need Bluetooth though, and an SD slot would be good. The GX30 next year ought to fulfill this along with a mega-pixel camera.

The internal screen is Continuous Grain Silicon 240x320 pixel 65k colour, the external screen is TFT 80x60 pixel 65k colour (used for animated clock/wallpaper/self-portrait viewfinder/caller-id).

CG-Silicon gives much better colour and visibility in bright conditions. Sharp have the best screen technology for mobiles and PDAs at the moment.

I was out to buy a GX-1o or GX-10m but no other way to transfer pics but MMS...and i wasn`t sure about the email client so...here i go and buy a T610:) Still, i like the GX-20.Does it have IRDA?
