is the Nokia 3650 better than the p800....me thinks not and the ngage is the same thing with the added bonus of having expensive low-res games that come on MMC cards that are proprietary to nokia!
conclusion:

N-Gage

N-gage is a toy/gsm.. made for gamers and the "young ones". lol
It's more a king of gameboy. (BTW you can get a phone module for the gameboy now!)
He is not even to compare with a P800 who is a real cellphone/pda with a more adult public
No discussion possible, if you want a phone to play and fun, buy a n-gage.
if you want to work with it and really use it to make phonecalls (and also to have the possibilty to play, music,..) then buy a P800/900

havent heard anything about the psp, but i dont really think you can compare the n-gage to a p800. n-gage does look ok tho. bluetooth support for link up is a great idea. just depends if there are gonna be any good title coming out for it. my opinion id rather spend my money on a smaller GB Advance Sp and have my phone as a separate unit

Indeed. No straight comparison.
Although as someone said, essentially it's a re-hashed 3650 minus the camera and plus the MMC (which, as previosuly noted, is proprietary and cannot be used in other devices without formatting to the other device's filesystem).
N-gage is for kids, bored businessmen
P800 is for yuppies, tech-freaks and those who have to have the best phone they can get their hands on, as well as the advanced features that the P800 has over any other phone which make it a good specialist phone also.
Now while I don't especially hate the n-gage (as opposed to the 3650 which I DO hate), I still don't really like it. It's murder to use the menus, it's big, you don't know which end to talk to, and from what I've seen...it crashes....a LOT!

The N-Gage looks interesting, but as people have already pointed out, it's not a P800 rival. It's a Gameboy rival. The P800 and other smartphones are converged PDAs and phones. The N-Gage is a converged handheld video game/phone.
Like other "PDAs", the P800 has enough processing power to allow you to play games, but it's not primariliy designed for that.
The N-Gage has some design flaws, which show that Nokia is a phone company and not a games company. The most obvious is the fact that you have to remove the battery to change the game cart.
The biggest fly in Nokia's ointment is going to be the Playstation Portable. Although it's not going to be released for another year or so, I hear from an industry insider that the specifications are everything you could dream of for a handheld games machine! Of course, it's not a phone though!
