hello everyone.
i live in israel, and i own a sony ericsson t68i.
in israel the bluetooth feature in t68i is disabled by the sim card, but all t68 phones have bluetooth working great.
i have a nextlink headset and i really want to try it out.
i would be really gratefull if someone clould help me and expain how do i make my t68i to a t68.

While it may be possible to downgrade your firmware it is not neccessary. As I have mentioned here several times, since 1st October 2003 bluetooth is allowed in Israel so you should talk to local or your operator to find out how you can now get it activated in your T68i.

Here is the official government document that tells you that bluetooth is now legal

let me correct you, the destenation date for the release of BT in israel is the 1st of novmber.
and yes i have seen other posts telling that i could wait till the BT is open.

but this is not what i'm looking for, i looking for a guy how know the procudure of downgrading the t68i software .

downgrading from T68i to T68m firmware can be risky since they use different filesystems... but downgrading to T68i firmware R2B025 is a bit less risky... in R2B025 the Bluetooth wasn't disabled (it was the last version before blocked Bluetooth in upcoming versions)...

but how it is done? and dont tell me go to sonyericsson ...
do i need a cable to connect the phone to the PC, what software ?
