I have seen discussions about wether or not you can flash the p800 yourself using the sync station. To add to that SE told me today that the software will be available very soon for all p800 users to be able to do this with their provided sync station, as not everyone that has one can easily get their phone flashed. They did not specify when, but it is a guarantee.

Might as well do that. Flashing is done free at

service centers. So I guess providing the software at even a very small price will be a more efficient way.
