Hi all
I have the latest firmware- R3C002.
Ok,went to bed last night, set an alarm for 12am and switched the phone off.Got up earlier than that and wanted to switch the phone back on again.But nothing happened!The phone just wouldn't turn on.I tried everything- charging the battery,removing it for a few seconds...Nothing.And the phone switched itself on at 12am and that was it.
Strange....

yes, we are talking about T610.I've looked into the matter myself too once again and now and everything works as it should.But there's one thing I forgot to mention- the battery was almost empty at the time.And it even didn't start to charge when I tried to charge it.So I still think it's a bug.

Its not a "bug", the designers have been clever to make sure that when an alarm is set with a very run down battery, the phone will shut down earlier, saving JUST enough power to make sure your alarm happens (Nokias feature this aswell), in other words it puts the alarm as the main preferance, so you wont be let down.
The phone then powers up for the alarm with its dying breath of battery power, i'm NOT joking its meant to happen, i first came across it on a friends Nokia 3310.
It must be very frustrating to be a designer of a clever feature like that, only to see it described as a bug on a forum.

Also if you had plugged in the charger, it may have taken a while before it would show its accepting a charge, sometimes up to a minute.
