Just got a new t610.
Have a dual SIM holder populated with a Company supplied SIM (o2)with GPRS activated but NOT MMS. With a pay as you go (o2) GPRS and MMS activated.
Well - so far I have played with all the settings on the o2 website and am not getting very far. As a start - I would like some help on getting MMS picture services and o2 Active working together on my Pay as You Go SIM.
I did at one stage get them working independantly of each other - but now 02 Active only works with GPS and not GPRS and picture messaging does not do anything. I have downloaded every configuration from the o2 website without success.
To get GPRS and Picture messaging on my Monthly SIM would be the first objective I suppose - then tackle the other next?
An expert walk through guide would be well appreciated from one of you Gurus please.

To simplify things, go here:
http://www.o2.co.uk/active/ota/settings/0,,181,00.html
Set up your phone for o2 Active on PAYG. You can remove all your previous settings manually from your phone if you wish.
Once it is working on PAYG, you should not need to do anything for your contract settings as MMS is not enabled on that anyway.

The settings for o2 Mms are different for both PAYG and contract. They have different APNs. I had the same problem as you. First you must download the setting for WAP GPRS and then the mms settings, thats how i got it to work on my t68i, however i noticed on my t610 that o2 use the GPRS settings for the media messaging.
Hope this is enough help as i am not near a computer to try thing out. ps the contract settings for GPRS will work with your PAYG sim, i just remembered that

You may have to give the network providers a call to ensure that your sim cards are set up for GPRS

Thank you ALL - your assistance has enabled the following:-
Contract and PAYG in dual sim socket - now workable.
CONTRACT - selecting o2 GPRS under the WAP settings enables everything with the exception of MMS - because it is not Operator enabled.
PAYG - selecting 02 MMS Pay as you go under the WAP settings enables everything - MMS works in addition to GPRS etc.
I can confirm that there is indeed a difference with the APNs - If the correct WAP profile as described above is not altered between Contract/PAYG then you get an APN error.
So in a nutshell. I have a system that works - so thanks again for your help. Just need someone to figure out any generic settings that could be implemented that will save me altering the WAP setup each time I select between Contract and PAYG....but this would be simply a 'nice to have'. Hope my expereinces and your help is of use to others.
Thanks
Martin
