Hello everyone, I am new here (1st post), just got a t610. Great phone! so mahy little features to figure out and set up. software R1A081 is what i have, no problems have i found so far. no hissing. only thing im missing is the camera options (1,2,3 & 4 etc).

enjoying the phone overall, signal not quite as strong as my 7250 was, get "sos calls only" alot when i used to have signal but overall its a much better phone than what nokia make!

My question is this: I have an MSI bluetooth dongle, which comes with MSI Mobilet which lets you view your phone book, send sms etc and it works well but its a bit basic and tacky looking. what other kinds of this program do people use for the t610? i tried one called "mobile agent" which looks nice but wont work with my phone, refuses to connect.

Ideally id like to be able to send sms, receive, view folders, back up phone book etc etc if its possible.

Regards, MJJPB.

Have you installed the software that came with the phone?

YOu should have XTNDconnect that will let you sync the phonebook/calendar with Outlook.

Also, assuming you got some sort of "bluetooth neighbourhood" software with the dongle, that should let you transfer files etc

Hey all!

Hope it's not off-topic, but as it is a General/PhManagement forum let me share this:

You can access the service menu (at least my T610 allows me to) even when the phone is switched off... Of course this is only while it is CHARGING and shows the battery sign and the title "Charging"... Then you can enter >*
and another interesting thing my mp3 player would count a second for two after I managed to recompress my Mp3 files at 64kbps 22khz

p.s. oh.. and another question:

SE P800 manual says that BACKUP/RESTORE works only via USB Cable/sync station... as i miss the station, is it possible to get over it or I should not try at all? Thanks!

Hmm.. I think I just found a post from this early morning which explains some of what I may need... but still it includes the SyncStation in the desctiption:
