Have spent some tiresome hours on the phone with Cingular, but I'm not coming anyway with the MMS settings. Have anyone here had any luck with getting it to work properly?

In MMS, options, message server, should be "http://mmsc.cingular.com"
You have to be signed up for MMS and GPRS. You can get the pay per used for GPRS, since no bytes are used. When sending, you should see the GPRS icons, not the little handset, which indicates that is trying to send as WAP (dial up.) If that is case, go get a new sim, so that the MMS can "attach" to the sim card. Stores should give you at no charge, since it was not you who did something to the card.

Thanks, it works great now. Just wondering if the bytes sent counts toward the 1MB subscription I have with Cingular, since I'm using the same WAP profile. Any ideas?

Thanks again,
Fredrik

No. No bytes are used when sending MMS. At least that is the way the system is set up. Going through the photo messaging address. Matter of fact, those who want to send photos the old way as email won't be able to soon. MMS is more cost efective, though. Good luck with it. I have been using the heck out of it.
