Is it possible to use other features such a image capture in T610 without inserting a SIM card.I have a new phone but yet to insert a SIM.Whenever I switch on the phone I get a message "Insert a SIM".

I was wondering if there have been any updates to this lately? I got a nokia 6620 yesterday (please don't yell at me too much), and i want to still be able to use my t616 for playing games like minigolf with my friends and stuff. Anyone know how to remove the "insert sim card" message?

Indeed, its a great feature to check the service menu without sim, i usually do it at buying a fone. This message was posted from a T68

You cannot do any more than the Service Menu.

Just put a SIM in it. It does not even need to be an active one

Anyone want to mail a sim card to the southern california area?

Buy a pre paid sim if u dont want to have a contract. Your question is a bit weird. This message was posted from a T68

my question was more of a poor attempt at a joke. But as for buying a prepaid sim, where do you get one in the US?

ebay is good, you could get cheap SIM cards off there, even de-activated ones just to check your phone out. just make sure you unlock it, and 6620's have a special way for generating the DCT4 code, a custom box number is needed.
