yes, of course Z600 supports Java but the question was does the java in the Z600 support sockets.

My best guess would be no socket support since the white paper description of java in the Z600 is the same as the one in the white paper for the T610.

Z600 JAVA supports MIDP.1 + JSR 135 (sound)
That means no sockets, no IR, no bluetooth.
