Hi, I am a newbie with GSM phone since I've been using CDMA phones for ever

Now I am really into my new T610, but still trying to learn alot of things. Hope you guys can help me with this.
My friends could text me from MSN Messenger, but when I received it, the text message's FROM only go by numbers such as 510, 511, 512, and so forth. When I hit reply and write back, it never got to my friends, even they're still online with MSN login.
Does anyone know how to fix this???
I am using service from T-mobile right now. Please help.
Thanks

Hmmmm. Strange that.
When I get messages from MSN buddies i get them from numbers like +45313285841125631 and when I reply they get through just fine....
I can even save those numbers and send to them again.
What number did you get your 1st confirmation sms from when you subscribed to msn mobile?
And what number do you send a text to when you want to see which of your buddies are online?

@Vlam
when you send a text, you can just right-click on their SN and select 'send SMS' or whatever

Hmmm..... it's actually provided by MSN.... when you subscribe to MSN mobile (via MSN messeneger in mobile menu) you allow o to send you messages to your phone (via SMS). It's been around for a while now.

nope. I set up my number and that means that everybody on my contact list can send messages to my cell phone when I'm not online. I can reply, but I can not initiate a convo unless they''ve sent me a message before...need that number to reply to first.
