hmmm... this article seems to be just a collection of links to stuff we have already seen with a few extracts from the Mobitopia review

edit: MaThIbUs, it would seem as you are on wap that you did not view the link and there is indeed a boxed version of the P900 as seen on howardforums because people already have the prototypes!

"Vain lot" are they being sarcastic or just plain stupid about the purpose of the mirror? Sorry, I don't read the register so I don't know if they use this kind of humor.

What about the 26th date, didn't we reach consensus here that SE would announce it on the 20th, since it was more convenient to us esato forum users?

is it really that crazy for people to think that SE have learened from there mistakes with the p800 and that the are going to annouce the p900 and only days later i will be ready to purchase? i happen to think its the smartest idea they've ever had

I think a lot of P800 users will in the future buy the P900, The colour, stylus, 32mb duo and the thinness will attract a lot of people.

@superluminova, have they really learned their lesson?

Announcing it earlier helps you stop customers from buying products from the competition, while it will piss-off people, and possibly get you poor reviews from company analysts saying you are having development problems internally and the such...

If SE did not announce the P900 earlier it was probably based on their opinion that there weren't any substitute products announced that could better their current offering.

Got to agree with you FABRIZIO, I think SE are very clever. They seem to show glimpses of there new products and then slowly release it, i also think they read our forums and know exactly what we want?

For example, SE showed the P900 in a flash presentation and then it was posted on Esato - they quickly removed the flash file and kept us all guessing. SE know there is a demand for the P900, just as much as the P800.

Come on SE - get it released, no more games, no more glimpses.
