Pretty much any recent Bluetooth dongle will let u sync your phone. You should be looking at extra functionality.. like.. headset/audio gateway profile, PIM Sync etc etc. I have a Billionton 100 m dongle and it works perfectly for all of these.

I have two Bluetooth adapters that I can give you feedback on:

1. Anycom Bluetooth USB Adapter, works very well with my T68. It also supports sending sound over to my Bluetooth HBH 10. So I asume it will work great with the P800

2. 3com Wireless Bluetooth PC Card (3CRWB6096B) This one, has proven to be an absolute disastrous purchase. Configuration has always been tedious, have used this with a T28w, T39m, and T68, each time dedicated about half a day getting it setup. Also, it doesn't support (at least not out of the box) my HBH 10.

Don't get me wrong, I like 3com products, and I give 3com credit for having come out with this card well before other manufacturers did, however as this technology got easier to handle, they neglected updating the software and making it more user friendly.

@petrutms I would expect the effective range would be limited to the max range of P800 - 10 meters

Wrathoo: I also thought the range would be limited by weakest link in a BT setup. However, I was looking to buy one of these BT landline telephone transmitters which let u hook up your pc to a telephone line via bt if U dont have a telphone jack nearby. One of the companies (will have to look up again which one) had a transmitter wiht a range of 10 m, but they were bundling a 100 m dongle with it to give it an effective 100 m range. I'm a bit confused now. Care to shed some light?

I can only guess, but I still seriously doubt that you can use a 10meter transmitter to get a 100m range... You can perhaps get a slightly longer operating range, but 100m seems unrealistic

What I meant was they said it comes with a 100 m dongle for that range, under fine print, I further clarified it to 50-60 m.

I suppose it could be possible in open space. I wouldn't count on getting very high transfer speeds at that range though (due to the number of retransmissions... )

Some class.2 dongles have 20-30m range., so I guess the actual range you get with P800 will pretty much remain unknown until someone tries it...
