Before I start I just want to say that I HAVE tried the search, but there were so many posts covering different sorts of problems that I couldn't be bothered to filter through them all.

Anyway, having got the MCA 25 today I just wanted tips on how to improve the quality of pics on the phone, at the moment they are looking terrible and I've seen some people with quite good pics in the past.
Any way to change the colour setup or anything?

Thanks guys.

1. make sure you are at least 2 meters away from the object.

2. make sure there is plenty of light, sunlight and florecent light is best.

3. set the contrast to the default or 1 tick below the default (that I have mine on).

I hope this helps, and yes, the search does suck.

click the MCA-25 in the phone then press *##* or the #**# there you can change color boost, its normally at 13. you can rize it, but don't rize it to much, cause then the pics won't be that good, but feel free to experiment

you can always transfer your pics to your pc , use photoshop and then send em back ... at least thatīs what i did with the pictures of my son and daughter ... !

Thats what I've had to do so far, but I would just prefer the pics to look a bit respectable on the phone.

yes.... but to achieve that you would have to have your cam make pics that are already optimies for 256 colors.

And that would in turn mean you can only use them on your phone, coz they would suck when viewed on pc.

Personally, i take my pictures to send them on by email.... so I prefer them to be good on pc...... i can live with what they look like on the phone screen

@vlam Exactly. I prefer to look the pictures better on the PC. I use only pics of my mates on the phone to view who call me and the quality of the pics are satisfied to my needs. This message was posted from a T300

I've been experimenting in different light and have been able to improve the quality this way.
I'm amazed at the quality when transferred to PC though!
