can someone please reply back with a definitive answer on how to make a tracker 3 skin? I have downloaded the default file from symbianware and still dont get it. i have photoshop and am familiar with it.
so what do i do? make a .psd file then run that .bat file that is in the symbainware .zip file? when i try to run the skin maker.exe file i just get a black command prompt box pop up really fast then go away.

If you go to the symbianware website and download one of the skins "with source files", there are a load of files in there to help. If you open one of the files that starts with "page_" (eg "page_today") with a text editor such as windows notepad, you will see instructions in the file about how to make the skin. It is a bit misleading because the files do not have a file extension, so don't open in notepad by default. NOTE that you probably shouldn't rename the files to end in .txt because the skin maker will look for files with no extension, rather than a .txt extension. The files in the "help" folder can also be opened in notepad.
I think that's all correct - I've only just started looking at it myself, so if I find any different I'll let you know.
