Hi all,
I am thinking of getting this phone but heard that the reception was not that good? Can anyone confirm this? I know this phone is loaded with feature, but to me reception matters most. I guess this is the same to most of you. No point of having a super duper phone when the reception is not good. So, I appreciate all the 610 owners feedback on this matter. Thanks a lot.

some people do say the T610 reception is not good compared with other phones but I have yet to experience a time when I could not hold a conversation or get a signal when I need it.

I think most people complaining are in north america where gsm coverage is not as strong all over.

Read this comparision between T610 and Nokia 7250i at CNET Asia
http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/handphones/0,39001719,39154586,00.htm
They find the reception on the T610 to be better than the Nokia 7250i. And I think the recpetion of the T610 is quite good I've had no problems. You'll also notice that most people complaining about the T610 reception lives in the US, which uses the 1900Mhz band while almost all other countries uses 900Mhz.

...and yet
mobileburn said they though the rception of the T610 was worse than the T68i whereas I think I get much the same reception on my T610 as I did with the T68i and often compared them when I first got the T610.

On a specific location here in belgium my signal jumps from 2 bars to 3 and then from 3 to 2 and that all the time but only because it's a small town with poor coverage, at brussels I have 5 bars all the time, so perfect recpetion but it's true that the signal jumps

Due to 65000 colors screen, T610 consumes much more battery power supply than its predessoor T68. As a result, its battery is under- powered for GSM radio signal & bluetooth signal transmission.
However, from my experience, a well seasoned T610 battery manages to solve this problem over time. Meaning, the T610 battery that has been in used over a long period of time.
I used to experience frequent "crackle" noise using HBH-60 & T610. Lately, it is gone.
