Dose anyone know what the last 3 digits are for on the end of the IMEI number on the T610 i have xxxxxx-xx-xxxxxx-0-05, do you think they are anything to do with the vodafone branding firmware shite, is it poss. to do a list of numbers from SE T610īs and Vodacrap T610īs.

the IMEI number contains 15 digits... the last one (in your case a zero) is just a spare digit... the last two (05) is just a number with no special meaning...

I think it's only for evidence. Example when my phone was in service center I did in to their website put my IMEI cod and it shows of actual state of repairing it. You have a unique IMEI to find your phone example when it's stolen. This message was posted from a T300

Here is a similar thread where someone wondered about the extra two digits... and... Here is a reply I gave in a thread which links to a good document that describes how the IMEI is made up

AAAAAA BB CCCCCC X

A - TAC (Type Approval Code)
B - FAC (Final assembly Code)
C - Serial number
X - spare

Some manufactures add additonal digits to the IMEI, it can be some countryspecific identification, production id etc...

Vodafone Live phones are identified using the CDA number.

Ive just done a seach on the net to fine out about the IEMI make up, what i really want to know is how the f**k does the SE server know that you have or had a Vcrap firmware phone. I want to get my firmware upgraded agian, i have de-crapped it twice now and do not see anything anywhere about de-crapping the R3C firmware,
