I used Tracker and its file manager to check the amount of free memory I have left on my 128M memory stick. It says I only have about 1M left. I then used "Mark All" at the root folder of the D-Drive and used Properties to determine the size/usage. It said I used about 88M. This means that my memory stick only has about
I checked the option in the File Manager to show all files (even hidden).

I also checked the free space on my memory stick by going into Control Panel->Storage Manager -> Files. It also said I only have 1M left.

Any suggestions?

PS - I have formatted the memory stick and been using it for over 3 months now.

Although I am not convinced this is the reason it could be something to do with the cluster size and the number of small files you have.

There is a good thread over at My-SYMBIAN entitled SONY IS STEALING MEMORY !!! on this topic so check that out as a starter

Assuming the memory stick has been formatted with FAT32 or FAT16 then that value would probably be correct taking into account the overheads of the file allocation table (FAT)
