Hi,
Having tried several etailers I cannot find a place (reputable = not Ebay) to preorder the phone as was possible with the P800.
Has anyone found a place to procure one?

If you have a look on geribaldi's wap site under the tools and tests there is a virus protector which claims to protect your phone against wap virus'. I have not tried it though. Maybe geribaldi can shed some light on the matter. Sorry i cant provide a link from my phone

yet so you are unlikely to get a production model although there may be a few prototypes around

expansys now has the p900 listed under their products coming soon section. So you can pre-order it, but there is no price listed. Funny that they don't have an image of the phone yet. they are just using a ghosted out image of the p800.

That's because Expansys doesn't have a commitment from the distributor yet.. They love to post future product sells based on rumors of expected release dates.
Case and point: They have had the S.E. Chatpen on their pre-order list for months. They have never carried that pen. In fact they have now listed it as "discontinued", but they NEVER carried it. I had to buy mine directly from the distributor because they decided not to release the pen commercially after all. The Chatpen is still being manufactured just not released commercially, but because Expansys can't carry them they note it as if this item was discontinued by the manufacturer.
Just hold your breath for the P900... Expected release date is Nov. 1st, but I would not put my money on it. I figured that out after placing a P.O. order for 95 units and they told me that they couldn't commit to the business purchase because they couldn't provide any legal document stating the commitment date from the manufacturer. So pre-ordering is pointless right now.
