Hi folks

Using IM+ for MSN services, it's suddenly stopped connecting... works ok for ICQ.

Can anyone tell me if they are still using it? Tried the usual troubleshooting but it looks as if MS have changed something rather than a fault on my phone....

If one person said - yeah I'm using it today - then I'd know.

Fraid I can't give ya a definite answer but I heard somthin about MSN blocking all things that connect thru some crazy sort of connection which IM+ does. Still, completely not 100% really.

AS of october 15 M$ has changed their security system, no programs other than their own can access their messenger server unless a licence agreement is signed i think

True, any application that connects to the server is blocked, you have to use msn messenger, and in my opinion it's a good thing .... why microsoft does have to pay the servers and bandwitch of others apps. Trillian used for months the servers and did make profit with selling their apps, so this is just normal that microsoft blocks it !

Been through this myself, and after the upgrade to JMSN 1.5, it works.
