Hey, this one is for all the great graphic artists and designers out there making skins for the new tracker 3. I had this idea.
To use the default jpeg image from the p800 rom. (the blue one) and to set it up as a skin. That way when you switch between tracker and the normal interface, it wont change. The middle section can be faded into a different (more plain tone if wanted) I have tried, but I have bad imaging software and also I cant get the exact sizing to make it seem integrate with the normal interface 100%. Anyone else wanna try...... I think it would be AWESOME !!!... you get what i mean ???

tracker skins can show the shortcuts on top and the status bar below...

I know this, But if you use the default picture in the main window some interesting ideas come to mind while using the full screen mode, or partial fullscreen. Because when moving out of the fullscreen to a section such as messaging, the window changes. Now if they were both the same, then you could actually change every icon on the bottom of the screen or the top.

retain the everything else except "main" window. so that everything looks default as it is.

Ah, so when you go to, let's say, the Tools screen your top menu would contain your favorite tools but it still looks like the standard menu?
Personally I would leave the bottom bar alone. It contains status info so it changes often.
It is worth a try but it will be quite a challenge to make this a convincing skin.
