Noticed this yesterday, when I was using my 'Orange GPRS Wap' profile to surf using the internal browser (as usual). I swapped to Opera and it works perfectly using the exact same profile! I'm using it now, anyone else noticed this?

When you use the WAP-gateway; can you also display ordinary WEB-pages, or only WAP?
The best of all, Opera is Norwegian!
I'm proud of that.

is Opera wap gateway some kinda special wap gateway? cuz i tried Opera with our local wap gateway (Globe Telecom) and it does not work at all. Pity since i think Opera is way more superior than the built in internet browser..
any advise would be welcome..

This has been discussed 1000000000000000000000000 times on this forum before!
I have been using Opera via Wap (dial up) not GPRS for the past 1 year on O2 it works fine, i see no reason for it not to work.
