Well,
I have had a Sony Z600 for about a week now, and the Wap Browser is defective. I had it upgraded to Firmware R2E and it did not fix the problem. Has anyone else had this problem with Z600 recently purchased?
Thanks

A more detailed description of what is wrong, any error messages etc, would make this thread more understandable for those who are interested in this topic?

The problem is the following, it appears that when using T-mob US Wap, the wap page does not load properly, meaning i get a blank page. wap.esato.com gives me the error, client does not have rights to access page. The software was R2D, then upgraded to R2E, same problem. It appears tht a number of people who have purchased the handset and have the same problem using wap with Tmob.
Is that better

yes. Is it possible that the problem lies not so much in the phone as in T Mobile compatibility with the phone???? as so far only T Mo reports errors... no other sp's do.

This has been raised in another forum/topic. The browser isn't configured to the t-mobile us postal and as such won't work yet. You get this alot with sim free handsets. There will however be a firmware upgrade available quite soon i'm told to resolve this issue, so hang in the kids. :-)
