Hello people I am getting the Z600 at 4:00 pm today.My person has gone to collect the unit from the sony ericsson dealer ware house here in Bombay, India.

Its already available in Kolkata since 18th Oct. THe dealers are raving about it. But are you aware of the "wap problems" that some users are talking about, here in Esato ?

the SE USA website had the Z600 listed as a "coming soon" phone. i havent seen it on there lately and i really want to buy this phone. did SE decide not to release it in the US!?! please tell me thats not the case.

The z600, was removed from the coming soon pages, and in some localized SE sites moved the products page. I assume that is because the z600 is now shipping in volume, in europe at least...

the wap problems in questions relate to the phone browser not being compatible with T Mobile USA settings. You should not be affected as you're in India anyway. No other countries (not even t Mobile) have reported problems.

Just to specify. I have had the phone, and other wap sites are affected as well. Cannot get to Msn.com or esato. It may still be an issue with T-mob settings, however, nonetheless its still an issue
