I just spoke to CPW and was told that the release date for the V600 has now been put back till early December!
Has anybody heard anything that can confirm this?
Thanks.

Does the V600 take memory cards? If so, which ones?
Cheers.

The V600 will be available in South Africa by November 03.It does not take any memory card and the memory on the phone is only 5mb.

5MB annit bad. Better than most fones out there. I find it a bit werid that a MP4 fone doesnt have upgradable memory. Nice luking fone tho.

Actually for a video cam phone with mp4 playback, 5MB is rather lacking.
design-wise, if you notice carefully, it's really a V66 design with polished metal instead of plastic. nice touch and the inverse display adds a very cool tech look too.
antenna is a shame though... get rid of it and you have a Z600 competitor.

well, if you can live with a small stubby antenna, it really isn't that bad.
