It just on bige differnent, the 65k display. Also Communicorder is kinda big different tto Camcorder. Hope they release Communicorder software for P800!
And i dont think it is worth to upgrade from a P800 for just that 2 reasons.

UIQ2.1 will be available for the P800 too.
It's the same phone in fact, same processor, same OS,...

And the look??? everybody his idea about that, i don't like the old-fashionned sony look the p900 have. not modern and cool enough, even the p800 is better !

Yeah. I read in my-symbian (which is a respected site) that it seems that the p900 may not support Duo Pros... this means that max is still 128MB.

The UIQ looks the same. Only enhancements are the themes. But I don't think the menu structure is changed. Some people find the menus confusing... items such as bluetooth, SMS alerts, Flightmode option are said to be in the wrong places. This means that a p800 with Tracker 3 may still have the edge in ease of use. (Unless Tracker for the P900 is developed).

Looks like it just took a major cosmetic change and some minor tweaks in its features.

I hope the screen is better than the one on the T610 which is pants outside when its sunny.

I will be sticking with my P800 if it is.

I own a T610 as well which is ok apart from a sceen that does not like daylight.

anyone know when UIQ 2.1 will be available for the P800? that would be good, especially if you could do firmware upgrades yourself, as stated in the esato review.

Would the UIQ 2.1 change the 4,096 colors to 65K...?

Impossible, the UIQ is software while the screen is obviously hardware
