According my experience T68i has more sensitivity, about 10 dbm in real life you can get 1 bar signal on place that T68m show "select network".

I guess it depends where you are and who the carrier is. I have a T39m and a T68m both with the same carrier and in the same physical location, the T39m is always better in signal strength . I will have reception with the T39 where the T68 shows "No Carrier."

You connect your phone to a computer and get readings on signalstrength etc? Which software is that and where do I get it
I played alot with RadioLan stuff (breezecom) and they have the same
abuility I can connect to them and recive info like that. Would be
nice to be able to do the same with my T68i

Yes, I can see the dbm measurement while using MA-600's Handset Manager for T68 (same software also for T68i), MA-600 is an IrDA adapter, and the software cannot work without IrDA hardware.
