I've just returned my Z600. No one at Service have so far been able to solve the Wap/GPRS problem. Its not working where I live but seems to working in other cities as reported by the main service centre in New Delhi, India.

Frankly speaking, I'm really pissed off. The local service centre is clueless. I lost almost USD 150 while swapping my 25 day old T610 for the Z600 and this is the last thing I expected from

This is not the first time that has let me down in spite of my blind support for it. When the T610 came out in India, I bought one, the very evening that it reached stores in my city. Guess what... the joystick turned out to defective !!! It was subsequently replaced though. Now the Z600 let me down again.

Sorry to hear.
I have never experienced any difficulties with SE.
But the support may be different depending on where you go.
All I can say is sorry for you. You really had bad luck.

Take care and I hope you still will be an SE customer.

Best regards
Patrik from Sweden

i cant understand what some of you are doing with your phones..
have had several both nokia and se/ericsson and motorola..and never had any problems (except the motorola, which had some stupid placement of the charger plug so it broke..)

some guys just can buy/return 5 phones and they still die on you..strange isnt it? act of god maybe? are you evil?

@Ludwig:
I've done nothing with my phone ???

I have used several Nokia phones like 7650, 3650, 7210, 5100, 5510, 3300, 3530, 7110, 8210, 8310, 3310 but NONE have had any defect and I've never had any problems while using them though I must admit that Nokia phones are boring and nowhere near phones.

However, after trying out the T68i, I converted to and since then have purchased/used the P800(twice), T68i, T610, T600, T65, T310, T100, T105.

So far, 3 phones had been defective right from purchase...

1) P800 (R2D) -- Internal browser was not working and phone was replaced by service after much deliberation...

2) T610 -- Purchased it the evening it reached the stores. Joystick was defective and was subsequently replaced by the store. (The hissing wasn't really a problem for me)...

3) Z600 -- Purchased 3 days after launch in city. Wap/GPRS not working. the blue indicator over the network signal indicator was not there at all. in India was clueless about this.

And as far as Motorola is concerned, I have an used A388 right now. Its pretty good though an old model.

I pretty interested in the P900 and hope wouldn't let me down again. Or else, I'll sell my soul to the devil and unleash all my evil on ...

it's dumb luck .... likely the batch available have inherently the same faults. replacements won't do any good....

it's plain and simple; expect defects everytime the 1st batch of new SE comes out in the market. i learned my lesson a long time ago.

I guess some people always get unlucky...

My first phone was a Philips Fizz (remember it?) wich had a problem of not wanting to recieve calls.

Then I got a N 3210

Then i got my current phone Ericcson T65. It has really got a lot of problems (hangs, shuts off when receving and during calls, +++), but still i like it a lot.

So now i'm getting a T610 and hope for the best...
