> Getting started with a new P800

What does one do when one gets a new P800? The kit contents are so numerous, where do I start/
I've already installed PC Suite, and the multimedia crap etc etc.
When I went to strage manager int he phone, it said i only had 2 MB of storage left! This is a NEW PHONE. What takes up storage space and what should I delete?
Does one have the option of choosing whether you want to save the file in the memory stick or the internal memory?
Also, in my old Palm, (in all PDAs) there was this Memopad option, so that I could write and work and create word documents on the go. Is this possible with the P800?
Battery: NEW PHONE, charged it for about 2 hrs. The phone said it had finished charging, so i tried plugging it out, then plugging it in again but it refused to charge. So I've been keeping it on charging, but using the phone at the same time. Is this all right? Will I damage the battery?

You can delete ringtones, images, and programs you don't need to.
Yep, but I think that you should first touch a little bit your mobile before start making questions 'cause you could ask for obbious things that you'll see as easy "as switching on your mobile..."
Nope I mean ms word not...
No damage mate. But I think you should first charge it for more than 2 hours.

take a look on the multimedia software cd for all the components listed already in ur p800, write them down, uninstall them in the applications menu, then re install them on ur 16mb duo, once u have viewed the world of connectivity video, delete it, and if needed, install on the duo. i have 2 p800's, so that was what i did with my 2nd 1. do not forget 2 install opera browser and the more viewers, as they are essential, opera can view sites and download sis files and zip files the internal browser wont! i got my 1st p800 in august, got my 2nd last friday, is at carphone warehouse having a software upgrade. it was r1d, my 1st is r2f. hope this helps all new users!

wel, you could start by reading the manual
then you could try the

function of this site
then you could tell yourself why the hell you didnt wait a few more weeks to get the p900 instead...
then you will notice that SE has already stopped the production of the P800 (so you might have bought one of the last units available)
then you might as well enjoy your phone because next to the p900, its still the best phone in the market today..
cheers!

Jotter is as good as Palm's Memopad. You can key in words or use freehand scribbling to take down notes. For the latter, you can even draw a masterpiece in colour!
